There's been a lot of news lately and amongst it, three new dates to be excited about.

Firstly, Brandon Flowers is playing The Eden Sessions at The Eden Project in Cornwall on 12th July.  Tickets go on sale to the public on Monday 14th March at 6pm, Inside Track members can buy them now. More details can be found at their website.

Brandon has also been announced for Oxegen festival in Ireland on 9th July.  Tickets are already on sale and you can buy them at their website.

Finally, and most excitingly, The Killers have announced a warm up show in Chile, prior to their Lolapolooza date on 31st March at Teatro LaCupula, Santiago, Chile. More Brandon Shows Announced

After a few rumours, some new dates have appeared on The Killers Official website for shows in Mexico, California and Las Vegas.  It doesn't specify on the site whether these are Brandon only dates, or The Killers dates, however, as they centre around Brandon's Coachella date, we believe the dates are Brandon only. The dates are:

10 April - Teatro Estudio Cavaret, Zapopan Mexico
11 April - Vive Cuervo Salon, Mexico City, Mexico
14 April - House of Blues, San Diego, California
16 April - House of Blues, Las Vegas, Nevada

The dates don't appear on any of the official websites for the venues as yet and tickets don't appear to be on sale. More news as we hear it.

Duffy Loves Brandon Flowers

In a recent interview with The Herald Sun, Duffy sang Brandon Flowers' praises like the best Victim among us. Asked what gigs she had seen, she responded:

OK. This is in order: The Strokes, Guns 'N Roses, Coldplay and the Killers.
Oh and Al Green and Candi Staton.
The most impressive was the Killers. Brandon Flowers is a showman like I've never, ever experienced.
He was like a young Michael Jackson.
He had this star quality. He has this Frank Sinatra elegance.
I never once wondered what he'd had for lunch or what his mum was called or if he was sweaty or tired.
I didn't think of him as a human, pardon the pun. I wanted that. We're in a recession across the globe.
People need something bright and light and fun in their life.

Couldn't agree more, welcome to the Victims, Duffy.

Visionary Artistry Mag have an article on The Killers, there's nothing new there, a sample of old Brandon quotes and some pretty pictures, but I thought it would help tide us over this barren period.  Read it here.

Watch & Tweet Live at RAH

To keep us all going now that Brandon's tour is over, we came up with the idea of a Watch and Tweet,  Live at the Royal Albert Hall.  What is a Watch and Tweet you say.  Well the basic idea is, we pick a date and time, grab our DVD's and Blu Rays all press play on the count of three. Then we sit back, watch the show and tweet about it using a pre-determined hashtag so we can follow everyone's tweets (and aren't interupted by other tweets in the timeline.

All we need to do now is set a date and time. I've whittled it down to two possible dates.

Sunday 19th December or Tuesday 28th December. The time will be 22:00 GMT, which should mean that wherever you are in the world, you don't have to be up at an really unsocial hours to join in.

There is a poll on the right there ------->>>>

Vote and we will set a date!
